Course Title

  • Certified Flight Dispatcher

Goal

  • Prepare the student to assist the captain in flight preparation and flight watch, and to participate in operational control and flight dispatch of an aircraft operator.

    Approved by Civil Aviation Authority

  • Module A : Aeronautics Environment
  • Module B : Ramp Operations
  • Module C: Flight Operations
  • Module D: Flight Preparation and monitoring

Duration

  • Total: 455 hours in 18 weeks

Population

  • 21 years old
  • Minimum: GCE Advanced level, French Baccalauréat (scientific) or equivalent

Period

  • 2 promotions a year or on demand

Nbr. of seats

  • Maximum of 16 per promotion

Training Monitoring

  • Progress test
  • Mock Exam
  • Final Exam

Validation

  • Certificate of Completion issued by Africa Aviation Academy
  • Certificate of Proficiency issued by the Civil Aviation Authority
  • After 13 weeks of on the job training under the approval of the Civil Aviation, a flight dispatcher licence will be issued

Registration

  • Written tests in Maths, Physics, French and English
  • Interview
