Course Title

  • Safety and Rescue Certificate

Goal

  • Prepare the student for the Safety and Rescue Certificate examination, mandatory to be employed as flight attendant and exercise the function of Safety and Rescue in a commercial Airline under the authority of a Captain.

Program

    Approved by Civil Aviation Authority

  • Phase I – Theoretical training: 147 hours
  • Phase II – Practical training: 40 hours

Recurrent training available on request

Duration

  • TOTAL: 187 hours in 8 weeks

Population

  • At least 18 years old
  • GCE Advanced level, French Baccalauréat or equivalent
  • Swimming capacity (50 meters in two minutes)

Period

  • 3 times a year or on demand

Nbr. of seats

  • 8 minimum – 16 maximum per promotion

  • Flight Attendant Instructors
  • Pilots
  • Specialized First Aid Nurses

Training Monitoring

  • Progress test
  • Mock exam
  • Final exam

Validation

  • Certificate of Completion
  • Theoretical Certificate of Competence issued by the Civil Aviation Authority.
  • Practical Certificate of Competence issued by the Civil Aviation Authority

Registration

  • Interview in French and English languages
  • Swimming test
  • Medical Exam
